Goodbye my darling...

You know I have never ever hate you.
we have been together for 3 years
and for all that years I have loved you

I still remember how happy I was when I first met you
and we both go to work together.. on that very first day...
You have made my life...
As much as I want us to be happy forever ever after
But life has to go on...
My life changes, the kids need more space for themselves..

You know that this day will come finally
I wish you good luck and best wishes with your new partner
You have been a great friend to me and family
And we will never ever forget you

A tribute to my handbags

This is my FIRST ever handbag.
It is from Carlorino.
It is small - just enough fo rmy wallet and small handphone.
I bought it during my last year in Uni, because I felt like I was grown up enough to carry a handbag. That is why is so small, because I was learning to carry one!

This is most probably my SECOND good handbag -from SEMBONIA.
My hubby bought this for my wedding gift. It came with a matching heels.
I used it for maybe 2-3 years before I locked it in my wardrobe forever because it has worn out.

This page is a tribute to my beloved handbags because both has been thrown away in thegarbage bin - I need more space for my still-can-be-used handbags.

Happy Mother's Day

It's mother's day. A day to treasure mommies all over the world.
I have been telling my kids about this day since last weekend.
Early in the morning, I taught them how to appreciate ME, in particular. hehhehe...
I taught them to make a card.
Wish me "happy Mother's Day'
Hug & kisses too!

And called my mom later than morning to wish her too.
She was waiting for my call.

My mon is my inspiration. She has always been my example to educate my kids, but as much as I try, I still cannot be like her. When I was a kid, she did scold me and bit me with 'rotan'. And I had even thought that when I have my own kid, I will never scold my kids like she did to me. Now that I have my owns, I never scold my kids like how my mom did, but worse. Sometime I feel I am a bad mother. I wonder if my kids will have the same thought as I was.

She is full of love. She seldom scold me (or maybe because I'm a good child). She always talk to me nicely, give advice and let me lead my life. She always try to give her best. She never said NO to my request. I can be sure that I will get what I want, but it is just a matter of time. She let me play around the neighbourhood without keeping an eye too much on me. She let me to have my own secrets. I don't know what or how she did, but since I was a small girl, I respect her, trust her, and I never tried to break that trust she had on me. I want my kids to experience the thing that my mom made me experienced, or better. Mom trust me, has faith in me, she is confidence with me. I am a confidence person, believe in myself, proud to be myself, and successful because she let me. I hope I can raise a child which will have the same values as what I have.

Conflict

Yes, I'm paranoid about my age.
Since I turned 25, I always have this conflict within myself about my health, my look, my personality, my behaviors.

And now that I turn 30 (and will be 31 this year), I still haven't resolve the conflict yet. I'm still confused and paranoid.

I think from now onwards, I would want to think that I am always 30, nothing more than that. My age number stop at 30. Fullstop. I hate when people ask me about my number. I think 31 is not a nice number. Unlike when I was in 20 to 29, it felt fabolous to say it outloud. I felt like an adult but yet a teenager. But 31?! it makes me feel so 'makcik' ok...

But I need to resolve my conflict. I need new image so I can feel great about myself. I don't know what to wear, how to act. I need sombody to help me! and I also need funds to replace my wardrobe! I don't want to look like a teenager, and I don't want to look like makcik either. I just want to look perfectly 30. Mature but fresh. Arrghhh!! this is a real conflict.

Happy New Year!!

2008 has past.
So did 1429 H.

It was quite a relax year for me, since I moved to this new job. New colleagues, new environment, new expectation... but it is way out of my expectation. I never thought that I will be this relax...
I'm glad that I started my master study, or I will regret if I didn't.
And the unexpected pregnancy is now coming close to the end.. I still cannot decide how am I going to plan my family after this fourth one. I know I have to do something, and I must!

New resolution?
I don't know.. I would like to surf my life as it is. It's not that I don't have plan, but I plan my life everyday, before going to sleep... if I have to write it here.. it would be...

1. buy back my mom's land ( i don't know how much it will cost me, but I'm willing to postpone my plan to buy a new house for this)
2. recently, my hubby told me that if there is rezeki, my brother-in-law would like to sponsor us for umrah, so, if I got sponsored, I want to take my mom along. Well, anyhow, it is in my hubby's plan to go for umrah this year, even if there is no sponsorship. insya-allah... but if we go with our own money, there will be no money for my mom anymore.. :(
3. reduce shopping or spending money ( i told myself everyday not to shopping excessively)
4. things on my spending list...
i. change our sedan car to MPV
ii. change / repair the kitchen & bathroom
iii. put up an awning
5. I am targetting to graduate in 2010. So, I have to start doing my thesis NOW!!
6. I was shortlisted for Chevening scholarship interview. And if I got it, I know everything I plan for now will change upside down. If I got it, I will leave for UK in Sept 09. I hope and pray that I will get it... amin...

the no. 6 is not in my capacity to plan for now. I leave it to fate and Allah. So, that' s why I don't like to plan so much. The no.6 will determine how I'm going to carry on with my life this year.

I don't regret this, but I felt stupid.

We have known each other for almost 20 years, but yet I don't really know him. For the 20 years, we have many short stories that to me is like a sequence novel.

First time I knew him, I was 13. He was 17.
He was my first crush, if not love.
I was crazy over him, just like a 13-year old girl, who is trying to understnad her own feelings and physicals changes. I was his loyal and crazy secret admire for almost 1/2 a year before I decided to reveal myself, just before he left the school. After he left school, we kept in touch through phone calls and became sort of friends, after a while before he went-off to UTM.
Then. I never heard from him anymore.

A couple of years past by. I received a letter from Johor. An apology letter for not being heard for so long. I was cherished by the letter. For few years, we kept in touch through letters. There was no single week that I missed his letter. The plain friendship has evolved into some kind of relationship. But all the years I thought he was in Skudai, later I know he was kicked-out from UTM and he got a place at UiTM Segamat. I felt cheated but was willing to apologize because I thought that he might feel embarassed and kept it as a secret. I think it is just a natural action for a 16-year old teenager that is looking for love.

I entered Uniten. We still kept in touch through letters (or love letters???)
Until he finished his Diploma and continued his study in Shah Alam. I really wished that we had time to secure the relationship. Since I stayed in hostel, it was me who had to made efforts to call him at his rented house in Shah Alam. But I started to feel something was not right when he always gave excuses to meet me. Finally, I received a break-off letter. All this while I was just a sister to him. I realized that he never treated me like a sister, nor a friend, nor a girlfriend. I probably just a girl who was a filler in his life.

A couple of years passed by. I couldn't remember how it started. Was it him or was it me. This time was a reunion between old friends. We had fun going out together and did 'bengong' stuffs. That time we were both in a relationship with somebody else. And I never hope anything from him. But it was not long before his girlfriend found out about us and couldn't accept our friendship. I didn't blame him or her because later was informed that they were getting married. But I never got the invitation. But I couldn't be bother. I gues it just that we were not destined to be together.

2 weeks ago, 8 years later.
I was feeling sleepy and the office was so boring. I got a call from a very familiar voice, but afraid that it could be a mistake. But it was real. He called me, after getting my contact details from the Internet. I do not blame the government for putting my details over the world-wide-web, but I am curious why in the world that he searched for me over the Internet. All of the sudden, all the memories are coming back to my concious mind. And now I have different view about him altogether. It hurts. I hate him. I felt cheated. For the past years, I was humiliated, and I just realized about it now. How can that be?

Bumping into him at the shopping mall is the last thing that I want to do / wish in my life. What more getting a phone call.... it was next to impossible, if it is not impossible. Could he "buang tebiat"? but I certainly hope that he's not bringing bad luck into my life.

But I have to admit, that I never ever felt crazier over a man than this man. I met him, feeling crush, fallen in love, dreaming about him nights after nights, trying hard to win his heart, hoping hard that he would love me in return. But all I got was false hope. And I realized that I hardly know him. Too many secrets, too many excuses. I just realized that I was clinging on a fake relationship, non-sincere and dishonest.

And this time, I will never repeat the mistake again.

Happy Birthday To Me!!!

From hubby...

The day has come.
I'm glad I can blow the candles with the kids and hubby. I'm glad that I'm still healthy and able to celebrate this day. It doesn't matter how I look, whether the gift is wrapped or not, I'm glad I still have what I have....

When I met her...

I have a workshop at the HQ today, apparently the facilitator was from hubby's office. I know she will be there but I do hope that she won't be there. Because I'm not sure how to act if I meet her.

The morning session, she wasn't there. Ok.
Come the evening session, she's there!!!
By afternoon, everybody in the room was like know already that I'm my hubby's wife. So, when she came, one of her colleague introduced me to her as my hubby's wife. I didn't know what to say, didn't know how to act. But obviously I didn't even look at her. I thought my face was read "I know your secret with my hubby, so I hate you and I'm not going to talk to you" I talked to her other colleagues but not her. I just pretend that she's not there.. you know I'm quite natural in this (in other words, I'm good at this!) The whole evening, we were presenting our ideas and she just sat there, not saying anything. Maybe she's disturbed with my action. I hope so. Kalau dah makan cili, tentulah terasa pedasnya....
But one thing, she's got my sytle. But she's taller, not sure if she's taller than my hubby or she just 'look' tall. She wears a boot like mine. I mean, she's so look like me! But she don't talk like me. She speaks well, that I have to give her credit. Maybe that's the reason that my hubby loves to talk with her... Should I be proud that even my rival look like me? or what??!!

The year I turn 30

This month is supposed to be a celebration month for me. It's my Birth-month!!

But I am not in the mood of celebrating as I don't like the figure and the fact that I have moved to a different band???

Okay, some people say what is there in the number?

But numbers does mean a lot, okay...

That means I have to take more and extra effort to take care of my body, health & beauty. If I were destined to live in 50 years, that means I have less years to spend with my loved ones in this world. Seeing the kids growing bigger and older, makes me feel growing older too!

Even though there are many things that I have in my to-do-list, but somehow, I feel that I have enough that I am content with, and if I am able to achieve more in my to-do-list, it will be a bonus for me.

Maybe all I really want is to able to take care of the kids until they can take care of themselves or have somebody to take care of them (like good husband and wife) and to bring happiness to hubby, to be able to give happiness to mama and abah, and to be a better Muslim before I leave this world forever.

I need some peace of mind!

See the picture?!
Just to get some peace of mind....
For God sake, I am scare for any, I mean all, type of prevention tools! from IUD to pills, I just cannot take it! There is no guarantee that I will be safe from any kind of side-effect, or worse cancer. It is always 99.9% no side-effect. But what if I were the 0.1%?
Ok, so I am the conventional type. I use traditional method. As if I use. Ok, I don't do anything. I just be extra careful. But I hate time like this. The feeling of uncertainty, and worries and wishing if only I took some precautions...
I truely believe that children is God's gift. If He wants to give me lots of gifts, what can I do?

10 things that I want to do

1. drive less! (& making sure that I claim every official mile that I took.)
2. eat less! (take heavy breakfast (it's cheaper than lunch!) and light lunch and dinner)
3. talk & SMS less! (Save on telephone bill)
4. save electricity!
5. save water!
6. plant more edible plant & herbs.
7. shop less! (reduce unnecessary shopping)
8. dream less! (reduce "keteringinan" of having something)
9. save more money!
10.If you think about what you have, you have everything. If you think about what you don't have, you don't have anything.

My Sony Ericsson K900 (2005-2008)

tamatlah riwayat my dear Sony Ericsson K900... It is the best handphone I ever had, until now, even better than my O2 Xda Zinc. It was the first handphone I owned, which is not Nokia. I was a loyal Nokia fan until I fell in love with this gadget. If I ever want to replace my O2 (or have a second handphone?), it will definitely be Sony Ericsson. It has everything that I need (not want)- a phone, an organizer, a camera and MP3. The screen is big but compact (no slip or fold). Very user friendly.

How I lost it? Blame it on my lil' angel. As usual, she likes to play with my handphone, but for this one, I didn't really care because it was an old handphone, in fact I was once wanted to give it away to my father before I decided to use it as my second handphone. But that day, while I was watching the finale of one Malay series, my lil' angel, liking it so much, brought it with her for her evening bath! So, there was it.. my K900 found its way and RIP. I was a bit angry then, but somehow I didn't get mad at her. Seriously, I am a cool mom now! I know, losing that handphone has more benefit, rather than disaster. It's weird but nowadays I tend to look at a good side behind a tradegy rather than the tragedy itself. If losing that handphone this way is a tradegy, the good part is I don't have to maintain a second number, which I usually used for non-profit business. And my handbag seems to be lighter, as I only need to bring one handphone, not to worry about "maybe somebody is looking for me on the other phone"...and what the hack, I don't need a handphone... nobody is looking for me anyway...

Always look at what you have

"If you look at what you do not have in life,
you don't have anything.
If you look at what you already have,
you have everything"

~Ninie Ahmad, The Yoga Instructor~

I guess what she says is right. So, from now on, I am going to remind myself whenever I want to buy something more than what I need, "I already have it and should I need more?"

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day..
to my dearest Mom...
who have gave birth to me
who have grown me into somebody like I am today..
without your love, care, patience and hardwork,
I will never ever be here today...
To love you..
To care you..
Till the day when we shall be apart and meet again in heaven...

To all mothers out there...
Happy Mother's Day,
who have been loving and caring for the childrens,
and the fathers too...
from yummy mummy to another yummy mummy..

Being a mother of three..
I know how it felt,
and what it takes,
to be a mother!

New Look!

After 2 days of head-cracking, I finally come out with this new look!
I like the flying dove picture above, which is downloaded for free from Microsoft Clips (Thank you Mr. Gates!) I cannot resist myself from pink... as it is my favourite color..hehehe..
I change the blogs' name to "dove99", which is easier to remember, and it reflects the writer's name too. I like 'dove' because it is a very unique bird, and some of the traits reflect my character as well... in Malay, there is a saying which says "sejinak-jinak merpati, terbang jua bila didekati"...it is a very happy and loyal bird, it can fly as far as hundreds of kilometer but it will definitely come back to it's home. I can be whatever I want to be, or how far I want to go, but at the end of the day, I will not forget the place I belong to, my home, my roots.
I change the title to "the sky is blue" because it reflects both the dove, which flies in the high sky. It also means that in whatever I do, always remember the sky is the limit, nothing is impossible.
I like to think my life is as beautiful as the blue sky... if it rains, hopefully there will be a rainbow to cheer me up.
I have new description too..."the chronicles of my sweet little secret". Everybody has their own little secret. And this is a place where I will dump all my little secret. :)

Me, a Cockroach??

I got a forward email from my old friend... Since I was born on 16 November, the article says that I'm a COCKROACH. So, this is what a Cockroach's attitude...

Quite contradictory to your name, you are a peace loving person. You best try to avoid a situation wherein you are required to fight. An outdoor person, you dislike sitting at one place for a long duration. You are a born leader, and have it in you how to tactfully derive work from people. You love being loved, and when you receive your share of limelight from someone, you are all theirs!!!! Well, well... hence some people could even take an advantage, flatter you to the maximum and get their work done. So be careful.....

When I think of it, it's quite true... I don't like to fight, I can't do the same thing for long duration - I easily get bored with this kind of situation (and I can't sit down and rest for long duration too!). I don't think I'm a born leader but I definitely a born manager. I know how to get task done from the people, eventhough I think this is easier if I have certain power over them due to position or seniority, but sometime I do get things done from the people which is not under my control.. (my husband says that I'm very good at this! And he also thinks that I seduce people to get things done!).. well, I guess I'll do anything to get things done. I love limelight! I do know people who like to take advantage of my weaknesses but who cares? It's a give-and-take, it's just the way it is.. if I make my boss's life easier and give him all the limelight he needs, somehow or rather, the limelight will surely reflected on me, it's just a matter of time or the amount of reflection that I got.
And one more thing, I'm a perfectionist.. if I pick-up something, I will do it perfectly, beyond people's expectation or I'll never can satisfy myself. But If I don't want to do anything, I'll just let it be and I don't bother at all.

Happy Birthday To Me

Happy Birthday to me...

Happy Birthday to me...

Happy Birthday .. Happy Birthday....

Happy Birthday to me...

29 years have passed
This is the last year of my twenties...
Looking at what I have achieved so far... quite incredable..
a mother of three.. stable career with specialist title...
growing to be a business lady...
of course not to forget my loving hubby...
But along the way...
How I wish I could be a better person...
Lots of mistakes have been done..
Lots of hearts have been hurt..
That's the price that I pay to be what I am now...
However, I wish myself a happiness, good health and prosperity.
I don't ask for more but to see my childrens growing to be the best they can be...
And to have a peaceful life and comforts...
